WebMy apologies if “cultural appropriation” isn’t the right term to use here- also apologies if the term “eyebrow slit” itself is not correct. I’ve been wanting to get an eyebrow slit for a couple years now, and I’ve especially been thinking about it recently, but I was wondering if it would be considered cultural appropriation? WebEyebrow slits no longer carry gang connotations or mean the person sporting them is involved in organized crime. However, the trend has received some backlash as a form of cultural appropriation due to the way influencers are credited as starting the trend.
