WebThoughts: The wolfman in Shining Force 2 is not nearly as broken as his ancestor. He does have the highest attack after Peter and can move through forest squares with ease. On the other hand, his defense is fairly weak and he only has a base movement of 5. Gerhalt requires some kind of movement boost to hang with the top tier characters. WebI think this is exactly right. Shining Force 1 I thought had a coolness that SF 2 lacked. I like Zylo animations better than Gerhalt's and while Slade's magic was cool, I feel like Hanzo's attack animation was infinitely better. Also, SF 1 had MUCH better gladiators. I was so disappointed when I got the gladiator promotion in SF 2.
