Tried one out with the 4 prong trailer and it keeps faulting EVERYTHING! From what I can find due to the blis and all from the can bus there is no way to hard wire from the tail lights.

My truck came with tow package so it has both. Should be able to tap into your 4 pin plug and stop that trailer recognition.
